What's a Gyro?
Gyros are a Greek pita sandwich generally made with beef and lamb.The pita is generally toasted, then tzatziki sauce, the gyro meat, onions, peppers and tomato’s are added. In Greece, Gyros are usually made as a fast food, as hamburgers are in the Western world. The Gyro sandwich is a very versatile food that can be made a number of ways and can include a wide range of ingredients depending upon the restaurant and the preferences of the consumer.

At Nick’s Sub Shop & Grill our authentic Gyros are prepared fresh when you order it and we can add a number of different side orders to go with it. The most difficult part of eating a Gyro is bringing an appetite large enough to finish it; they are usually quite filling.
